Collision repair questions

Where can I arrange collision repair in Metro Vancouver?

Contact our Colorworks Team in Vancouver, North Vancouver, Coquitlam or Port Coquitlam. Your advisor can confirm the assessment location and appropriate repair facility. Express locations focus on smaller repairs; larger collision work may be directed to a full-service facility.

Can I pay for collision repairs without insurance?

Yes. Request a written private-pay estimate and review the proposed scope with your Colorworks Express advisor. Our private repair versus insurance guide explains questions to consider before deciding how to proceed.

Can Colorworks help with an ICBC repair?

Tell the advisor that you have an ICBC claim and provide the claim details requested. The team can explain the repair arrangements and direct you to an appropriate participating facility. Your insurer confirms coverage and authorization requirements.

Is vehicle concierge included with every collision repair?

No. Vehicle concierge is available only through eligible ICBC Valet service and confirmed arrangements. Ask the advisor about eligibility, drop-off, collection and any replacement vehicle arrangements.

How long will collision repair take?

The schedule depends on the assessed damage, parts availability, repair procedures, approvals and shop capacity. Ask for the expected timing after assessment and how you will receive updates if the plan changes.

What if more damage is found after the estimate?

Some damage may become apparent during further inspection or disassembly. Ask your advisor how changes to the scope, cost and schedule will be explained and authorized before additional work proceeds.

Are all Colorworks shops certified for every vehicle brand?

No. Manufacturer certifications and repair capabilities vary by location and vehicle. Ask the advisor to confirm the appropriate facility and any relevant certification for your make and model.

Can a small dent or bumper scuff use Express repair?
