How ICBC Valet works

Our Colorworks Team connects the appointments and agreed vehicle arrangements, so the next step is explained before you need to take it.

1

Call

Speak with our Repair Planner. Explain the damage, your vehicle location and whether you have an ICBC claim number.

2

Assess

We arrange the appropriate assessment, review the visible damage and explain what needs to happen before the repair is booked.

3

Repair

Confirm the facility and schedule. For an eligible ICBC Valet booking, we coordinate the agreed pickup and replacement vehicle arrangements.

4

Return

The team explains repair completion and the handover. Your return arrangement is confirmed with the Repair Planner.

Mobile assessment, pickup, return and replacement vehicle arrangements depend on the confirmed service area, eligibility, availability and any applicable costs.

Your claim information

If you have reported the claim, have the ICBC claim number ready. ICBC confirms coverage, deductible and claim requirements.

Your scheduling needs

Practical support around your ICBC repair

Vehicle Concierge · Part of Colorworks Express

Practical support around your ICBC repair

Vehicle concierge is available only through the ICBC Valet service. Our Repair Planner coordinates the agreed steps around assessment, repair scheduling and eligible vehicle arrangements. You have a team to contact when the next appointment or handover needs explaining.

The repair is completed at the appropriate shop. A mobile assessment is an estimating visit, not a promise to carry out collision repairs at your home. We confirm the facility and arrangements before the booking goes ahead.

ICBC Valet questions for Metro Vancouver

Can I choose a Colorworks location for my ICBC repair?

Discuss your preferred area and the repair with our Repair Planner. The team confirms an appropriate facility and appointment, with options across North Vancouver, East Vancouver, South Vancouver and Coquitlam.

Does the main ICBC Valet page cover every city automatically?

Contact the Repair Planner with the exact vehicle location. An enquiry from a city does not automatically confirm mobile assessment or collection there. Service area and vehicle arrangements are confirmed before booking.

Is vehicle concierge included with a private dent or paint repair?

No. Vehicle concierge is part of the Colorworks Express program and is available only through the ICBC Valet service. For a private dent, scratch or paint repair, contact a shop for an estimate and direct booking.

Will my vehicle be repaired at my home?

A mobile appointment, when available, is for assessment and agreed vehicle arrangements. The repair is completed at the appropriate facility. The team confirms the assessment location and repair destination before booking.

Do I report the claim to ICBC or call Colorworks first?

You can contact Colorworks to discuss assessment and repair options. Report and manage your insurance claim with ICBC, and give the Repair Planner your claim number once available. ICBC confirms coverage, deductible and claim requirements.

Is a replacement vehicle guaranteed?

Replacement vehicle arrangements depend on eligibility, availability and the confirmed booking. Ask the Repair Planner what can be arranged and confirm insurance transportation coverage with ICBC before relying on it.

Is ICBC Valet the same as Colorworks Vehicle Concierge?

ICBC c.a.r. shop VALET is a former ICBC facility program name; current facilities participate in the ICBC Repair Network. Colorworks uses ICBC Valet service for its repair arrangement offering. Vehicle Concierge describes the support within that service, not a separate ICBC accreditation.

Damage Picture Tips

To help us better assess your damage, please use the following tips to take the best pictures possible to send us. Try and keep the resolution from medium to high. You can attach up to 5 pictures.
Take a picture from a distance so that we can see where the damage is in relation to your vehicle.
Take a close up, so we can see more of the detail of the damage.
A close up from another angle is always useful as well so we can see where the damage is in relation to other panels.

What is a VIN Number & Where to Find it
