Private-pay or ICBC: choose your next step

For a minor repair, request a written estimate before deciding how to proceed. You may be paying directly because you prefer to, do not have applicable collision coverage, or the repair is outside your policy. Your Colorworks Express advisor can explain the repair scope; your insurer confirms coverage and policy terms.

For an ICBC claim, share the requested claim information and ask about assessment and repair arrangements. Vehicle concierge is available only through eligible ICBC Valet service and confirmed arrangements.

2. Confirm the right location

Tell the advisor whether Grant Street or Cambie Street is more practical. Confirm the assessment location and any necessary transport arrangements before setting off.

3. Agree on a clear plan

Review the proposed work, payment route and expected schedule. Ask who will keep you informed as the repair progresses.

Damage Picture Tips

To help us better assess your damage, please use the following tips to take the best pictures possible to send us. Try and keep the resolution from medium to high. You can attach up to 5 pictures.
Take a picture from a distance so that we can see where the damage is in relation to your vehicle.
Take a close up, so we can see more of the detail of the damage.
A close up from another angle is always useful as well so we can see where the damage is in relation to other panels.
