Paint Correction, Detailing & Ceramic Coating in Metro Vancouver
Bring back the finish you enjoy driving.
Paint correction, car detailing and ceramic coating each have a different role in caring for your vehicle. Our Colorworks Team can assess its condition, explain suitable options and help you plan the work.

Choose the care your vehicle needs
Clean the vehicle. Refine the paint. Consider protection.
Start with the condition of your vehicle and the result you want. These services can be considered separately or as an agreed plan; packages and availability are confirmed with the shop.
Refine
Paint correction & polishing
Suitable polishing can improve fine surface scratches, swirls and a dull finish. An assessment helps establish what can be improved and which marks need paint repair instead.

Car detailing
Discuss interior and exterior cleaning based on how you use your vehicle. Tell the advisor about upholstery, pet hair, stains and exterior concerns, then confirm exactly what the package includes.
About detailing →Protect
Ceramic coating
A ceramic coating adds a protective, water-repellent layer after appropriate preparation. Discuss the product, finish preparation and ongoing care before selecting a coating option.

Which option fits your vehicle?
The inside needs attention
Start with a detailing enquiry. Explain the areas that need cleaning and ask which interior and exterior options suit the vehicle.
The paint looks dull or swirled
Ask for a paint assessment. Polishing may improve suitable surface defects; deeper scratches or damaged clear coat may need repair.
You want to protect the finish
Discuss ceramic coating after the preparation needs are clear. Existing defects should be reviewed before a coating is applied.
Correction and coating have limits. Polishing cannot repair missing paint, and ceramic coating does not make a vehicle scratch-proof or prevent stone chips. Your advisor can explain realistic results and suitable alternatives.

Paint correction, detailing & coating questions
Paint correction, detailing & coating questions
What is the difference between detailing, paint correction and ceramic coating?
Detailing focuses on cleaning and appearance. Paint correction uses suitable polishing methods to improve surface imperfections. Ceramic coating adds a protective layer after appropriate preparation. Your advisor can help you choose a service or combination based on the vehicle condition.
Can paint correction remove every scratch?
No. Suitable polishing can improve some fine scratches and swirl marks, but deeper damage, paint loss and failing clear coat may need a different repair. The finish must be assessed before the team can explain realistic results.
Does ceramic coating fix swirls and scratches?
Ceramic coating is a protective treatment, not a repair for existing paint damage. Discuss any correction or paint repairs required before coating so the preparation and expected finish are clear.
Does ceramic coating stop stone chips or replace washing?
No. Ceramic coating does not make paint scratch-proof or prevent stone chips, and the vehicle still needs appropriate washing and maintenance. Ask the advisor about the selected product and its care instructions.
Can I book interior and exterior detailing together?
Ask the shop which interior and exterior packages are available and what each includes. Describe upholstery concerns, pet hair, stains and exterior condition so the advisor can recommend an appropriate scope.
How long does a ceramic coating last?
Durability depends on the product, preparation, use and ongoing care. Ask for the selected coating’s expected service life, maintenance requirements and any written warranty terms before booking.
How much do these services cost?
Pricing depends on vehicle size and condition, the agreed detailing scope, any paint correction required and the coating selected. Ask for a written estimate that explains the work and any optional additions.
Are these services available at every Colorworks shop?
Services, packages and availability vary by location. Contact our Colorworks Team to confirm the appropriate facility, appointment and service scope before arranging your visit.
What if my vehicle needs body or paint repair first?
Tell the advisor about dents, chipped paint and deeper scratches before booking. The team can assess the damage and explain the appropriate repair and preparation sequence before polishing or coating.
