Pay: CA$24.00-CA$28.00 per hour

Job description: Colorworks Express Autobody Centers is seeking an autobody technician with at least 2+ years of experience or a Licensed Journeyman Autobody Technician to join our team in Barrie.

This high-volume shop offers steady work, a strong team environment, and competitive pay for an experienced technician.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in Autobody or a Licensed Journeyman Technician
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

 

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Ability to follow repair estimates and repair documentation.
  • Participate in and contribute to repair planning processes.
  • Experience using structural pulling equipment.
  • Experience in aluminum and steel repair.
  • Ability to repair and/or replace interior and exterior vehicle components.
  • Fundamental experience and knowledge working with:
  • Hybrid systems
  • ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)
  • Airbags and restraint systems
  • Experience removing and replacing heavily damaged vehicle sections, such as roof panels and rear body panels.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturer repair procedures and safety standards.
  • Commitment to producing high-quality repairs in a fast-paced environment.
